UCF Baseball Annual Alumni Weekend

Every year the UCF Baseball program has their Annual Alumni Weekend. This years weekend included for the very first time an old timers game. The game matches former UCF players against this years team. We were given uniforms and the opportunity to relive our youth and the days when playing baseball was the most difficult thing we had to do all day. Those times are long gone, but it was certainly nice to have the experience on this day.

After grounding out my first at bat, I was able to get another shot in the 4th inning. With Tony Marillo on first and running on the pitch, I hit a 0-2 pitch hard through the right side to complete the hit and run. I later scored barely making it around the bases. My entire body is sore, but the pain brings back so many memories.

Thank you Coach Bergman and the entire UCF Alumni Association for making this weekend one to always remember.
