Its Great to be a Florida Gator!

do the Florida Gators deserve some credit or did I just see an ass whipping? the answer is obviously yes to both. It is now time to start calling them THE Florida Gators. how about a few weeks ago in Gainesville when the Gators blew out Ohio State in basketball. did we think it would happen again. after that game with a few minutes to play, the crowd chanted "over-rated." They followed that with chants of "just like football." at the time I was telling these gators (one inparticular) to be careful.

needless to say, I think the Buckeyes heads are still spinning and they are now officially tired of the orange and blue.

as the Gator basketball team walked off the Indianapolis court after last years win at the National Championship game, the Gators conveniently took a look around and decided to take with them the hard wood floors and one or two of the big reply screens. they thought both would be a nice memento, a wonderful addition to the Stephen C. O'Connell Center .

now one only wonders what the Gators will take with them after last nights win in Arizona. I would think this is a tradition these florida gators should continue. I am sure they will find something they like from the stadium billed as the nicest in the NFL.

for those who do not watch much Florida football, don't look now, but here comes Tebo and Harvin for another couple of years. It has never rung more true than today the words I have heard so many times while on campus in Gainesville, "Its Great to be a Florida Gator!"
