Your Brand Voice recommends QR code to promote targeted landing pages

Why add a QR code & Facebook sign to your door?

Inspired by many examples first in Japan, and recently many companies in NY that are adding QR codes + FB signs to attract locals and promote outlets inside hotel. A guest who scans the QR code with their smartphone likes your business or can be sent to your area on the web you designate.

Idea: In an effort to improve online reviews spend a busy day requesting those who appear to be having a good experience the opportunity to scan the QR code and leave feedback right into the phone.

What was the development process for building it?

The QR code is generated online in (http://qrcode.kaywa.com/)

And the FB “LIKE” badge, as you know you can download from facebook site.

After generating the code and the FB Like badge, simply hire a plotter specialist.

Will our customers or cleints use the code?

More than you think! Put it up and watch as people start utilizing it!

Do we expect an increase in Facebook fans?

Absolutely, wherever the code is directed we believe our goals will be accomplished. In other words if we direct the QR code to the like button, we are confident we will get more Facebook likes. We like these ideas more than focusing on more Facebook likes.

1. Improve review scores on whatever review site you feel necessary (Trip Advisor, Google Places, Yelp, Foursquare)

2. Drive people to areas of the web you want them.

a. Strategically place these QR Codes in unique places around the property. An example would be a hotel placing the code near the pool overlook. If you scan the QR code up there it would take you to the photo album built in Facebook that highlights shots of the pool from that angle at different times of the year. Or perhaps a code in front of a ballroom that when you scan it shows off different room type setups.

Can QR codes be used elsewhere in your marketing?

Yes, these codes can be placed in all forms of marketing. Print, online, or as a wall or window graphic. The bottom line, the QR code gives the marketer the opportunity to get inside the smartphones of their customer quickly and easily.
