Brand Bros.

I haven’t really thought about my expectations coming into the bro’s internship.  We call them brand bros.  I think it was the young energy, creativity and desire to learn that first attracted me to the early email exchanges with Miguel.  Shortly after one of our first calls, we hang up and he calls me right back…he said- you know- there is one thing- and I said what is that.  He said, Ishaan comes with me.  I said who is Ishaan…and he described Ishaan in very good detail.  I said, bring him on.   And that is how it started.

When they got here the first thing that impressed me about both of them was how they immediately embraced the challenge and took ownership of our brand, our business, our customers.  They were engaged.  They had so much energy and zest to learn that we got energized as a result.  It was a catalyst for our small but growing business and we needed at that exact time.

The other thing that I noticed about them both was how well they worked together.  They were almost an ideal match in terms of complimenting each other’s strengths and weaknesses.  Ishaan was the dreamer, the negotiator and Miguel is the keep things on track, the very disciplined kind of guy.  Without each other, things would not have progressed for them individually, or for us as a company as rapidly as they did.  We know that without Miguel, Ishaan cannot be on time J

When Miguel and I first spoke, he was very articulate in what he wanted to get from the internship and he was very clear on what he needed in order to get these things done.  Ishaan is insanely creative and basically a hippie- but I mean that in the most loving kinda of way.  His free spirit guides him and along with his creativity and intelligence provides the tools required to be a great content producer.  Together these guys create quick, fast, witty, engaging content.

It all started with Miguel doing a Google search for “Marketing internships in Orlando” and the rest is history.
